Design Brief
To create an iconic structure that establishes a commanding presence within the existing residential environment, not only enhancing the identity of the residential complex but also contributing meaningfully to the surrounding neighborhood. To ensure that the building evokes a sense of curiosity and emotional connection, fostering social interaction and serving as a catalyst for human engagement through the design of collaborative spaces.
The challenge was to work within an existing structural grid established at the ground floor level. Through careful study of the massing, the form was strategically evolved to respond to these constraints. The footprint accommodates ground-floor parking topped by an elevated plinth, creating a strong base for the structure. A unifying envelope was introduced at the first-floor terrace level, wrapping around the building to create a cohesive identity. This deliberate gesture enhances visual impact, accentuates the building’s horizontal length, and adds a substantial, marketable volume to the facade reinforcing its contemporary and iconic presence.
Design Objective
- The design concept aims to foster an environment of playfulness, togetherness, and mindfulness by integrating diverse modes of engagement within the built structure.
- Green zones are strategically introduced throughout the building to reestablish the human connection with nature, enhancing well-being and comfort.
- Transparent and layered spatial compositions are employed to create strong visual connectivity between indoor and outdoor environments, reinforcing openness, interaction, and a seamless relationship with the surroundings.
